New Look, Same Purpose: A Journey in Partnership

For more than five years, Imaginable Futures has been working to build more just, connected, and resilient systems where all learners, no matter what their background is, can thrive. But as the challenges we face become increasingly complex, we’re reminded that meaningful, lasting change doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s fueled by deep collaboration among community leaders, funders, educators, advocates, researchers, and more. It’s propelled further by shared values, diverse perspectives, bold ideas, shared learning, relationships rooted in trust, and a commitment to transformative change in education.

That’s why, as we evolve to meet the shifting needs and opportunities, we’re taking a more active approach to the power of partnership and strengthening our efforts around collaborations. In addition to continuing to support organizations and initiatives that strengthen the broader education field and help make lasting progress possible, we’re actively seeking more opportunities to align funding, partner on shared initiatives, and learn alongside others who are committed to advancing equity in education. Whether through regional efforts or field-building, we believe that the work we do together has the potential to go farther and reach deeper than anything we could achieve alone.

This spirit of collective progress is at the heart of another important milestone in our journey: an updated vision and mission, and the launch of a refreshed website and evolved visual identity. More than just a new look, this evolution reflects how we’re growing—in purpose, in practice, and in partnership. Our updated vision and mission capture the future we seek to create and the path we will take to get there:

Our new look is rooted in the places and people who shape our mission. Across the site, you’ll find original illustrations by Wanjira Kinyua from Kenya, Tetiiz from Brazil, and Loveis Wise from the US — talented local artists from each of the geographies in which we work. Their work and perspectives bring our values to life in ways that are personal, meaningful, and beautifully unique. 

Whether you’re new to Imaginable Futures and looking to learn more about us or a long-time partner looking to have a specific question answered, we hope we are providing an experience that makes it easy to understand more about us and our work. As you explore the site, we invite you to:

While our appearance has evolved, the foundation of our organization remains the same. Our core values of being compassionate changemakers, justice seekers, inclusive collaborators, courageous learners, authentic communicators, and grateful celebrators continue to guide and ground us as we imagine and build a brighter future for learners.
