Alas platform is a crowdfund focused on accelerating racial equity for Black Brazillians in education and professional spaces. The platform supports the development of Black leadership through training and empowerment opportunities. In addition, Alas hopes to bring on white leaders as allies in the work and movement, providing them with the necessary resources to help transform structures and decision-making spaces with racial equity in mind.
Why We Invested
Alas Platform is a crowdfund run by Fundação Tide Setubal to increase the representation and professional development of Black Brazillians in leadership positions across all sectors. Projects funded through the platform focus on educational, leadership and professional training opportunities. By focusing on Black leadership, the Alas Platform supports organizations that support the success of Black learners and professionals, empowering them to participate in decision-making spaces and be agents of transformation for racial equity.
