Why We Invested
Efficient management of technological solutions in education is critical, especially as we continue to move towards a world that is more digitally connected. Through our long-term alliance with the Lemann Foundation, we have invested in Instituto Jataí to test technology solutions for education secretariats in Brazil, and to also generate knowledge on best practices on education technology management. We believe that efficient management would increase the potential for impact for administrators and educators, giving them more time to focus on students.
I am passionate about technology, innovation and public procurement, and in public service, my colleagues and I often feel a lack of support to bring about the transformations we would like. With Instituto Jataí, we want to leverage public managers to go further, offering technical support mainly on public purchases of technology and innovation.
