Think Equal is the global education initiative that calls for a system change in education to end the discriminatory mindset and cycle of violence across our world. Think Equal calls on governments and education ministers to adopt its tangible, free program mediating aspects of value-based, experiential social and emotional learning for children aged 3-6 (including empathy, emotional literacy, resilience, self-regulation, critical thinking, gender equality, peaceful conflict resolution, self-esteem, etc.). Think Equal is a simple, concrete and free programme delivering the outcomes which the world now recognizes as crucial if we are to achieve peace and equality. It meets 10 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Neuroscientists are clear that the optimal time to change mindsets, attitudes and behaviors is in the early years. Think Equal’s social and emotional learning program cultivates empathy and emotional intelligence. Think Equal believes that instilling these values in the earliest years will contribute to the next generation of just, inclusive, empathetic and altruistic leaders, teachers and professionals – global citizens that can rise to the challenges of the 21st century.
How can it be deemed compulsory for a child to learn mathematics in an age in which we have calculators, and yet it is optional for a child to learn how to value another human being and lead healthy relationships?
