Open Knowledge is a nonprofit and non-partisan civil society organization that aims to make the relationship between government and society closer and more transparent. It does this by producing and promoting knowledge in various fields.
Why We Invested
As societies become more reliant on technology, understanding best practices is crucial. As part of our philanthropic alliance with the Lemann Foundation, we have invested in Open Knowledge Brasil to develop and broaden knowledge on how municipalities are developing, acquiring and incorporating pedagogical strategies and educational technologies. Open Knowledge Brasil will also share and build successful case studies that will be made accessible.
We have a vibrant technology community in Brazil that can be involved and is happy to contribute to the solution of public problems, via technical cooperation or voluntary collaboration.
