Families with young children have been most affected by a rapidly escalating COVID-19 pandemic, compounded with social unrest due to both racial injustice and political turmoil. Our investment supports relief funding for organizations that have been mobilizing effective measures in support of early childhood development in vulnerable communities during the pandemic. Through Baobá, we supported micro-donations to individuals and organizations helping families and parents with children ages 0-6, pregnant teenagers and women, and combating domestic violence and abuse of women and children.
The Baobá Fund is an initiative based on the need of our Brazilian society to promote specific actions for the Black population, due to existing inequalities and racism.
