The Center for Innovation in Brazilian Education's mission is to foster the culture of innovation and the use of technology to promote quality and equity in Brazilian public education. CIEB provides technical support to government institutions at federal, state and municipal levels in the design and implementation of information and communication technologies policies for education.
Why We Invested
Educational technology is disproportionately used in private schools in Brazil, where it threatens to further excerbate inequity. The Center for Innovation in Brazilian Education (CIEB) is a key partner for our work in Brazil, given their mission to support the use of education technology in the public sector. CIEB aims to support public managers, through capacity building efforts, the provision of technical assistance, and advising on policy policy.
